Malama Honua
On Wednesday the 25th of March we went to the hall and then we did the rules and then we lined up ready to go to Pt England beach.We went to see waka and then they go in the boat go down to the beach and every school came to our beach and we sat down on the grass.
One of the name of the waka Hokule’a and Hikianalia came to Pt England beach. There were many visitors that came here to see us. They sang us a song and they sounded beautiful i wanted to hear them sing again. then we stood up and we sang a song e oho and we sang again and we sat down.
Then we lined up and went down to say goodbye by touching there hands.We walked back to school and went in to the hall then back to class to write up a story about the big visit from the Hawaiian people.
